Kevin Payne, D.C. United’s president and chief executive, was fined by the league for naming teams he thinks do not play to win, but he was correct in saying some games aren’t worth watching.
What league doesn’t have games that aren’t worth watching? I’d love to find this mythical league where every match is nail-bite city with nothing but impressive, error-free play.
MLS definitely has many places to improve, but this continual notion that it is the only league in the world with problems is borderline comical.
I enjoy watching matches from around the world, but MLS matches are difficult to watch as the drums and horns are a constant annoyance. The drumming and horns should be band and fans need to start cheering and shouting, making a much more exciting and supportive atmosphere both live and on television.
